1 cup desiccated coconut
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1 level teaspoon baking soda
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons golden syrup
2 tablespoons boiling water
Method
- Pre-heat oven to 180 Celcius.
- Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl.
- Melt butter and golden syrup together in small saucepan.
- Dissolve soda in boiling water and then add to dry ingredients and mix.
- Shape with your hands into 3cm balls and flatten out on a lightly greased baking tray.
- Cook until golden brown on 180c (approx 15 minutes).
